General Surgery Rotation
This structured Surgery rotation offers immersive exposure to U.S. inpatient surgical care within a dynamic, team-based hospital environment. Participants gain experience across key aspects of surgical services, including patient rounds, operating room participation, and academic conferences.
The experience is delivered through close collaboration with attending surgeons and residents, allowing for direct mentorship and meaningful integration into the surgical team. Under the supervision of board-certified surgeons, participants are involved in patient care activities such as pre-rounding, case presentations, and clinical documentation.
There are opportunities to observe and assist in a variety of surgical procedures, while developing an understanding of perioperative management and surgical workflow. Participants also attend surgical rounds, didactic sessions, and Grand Rounds, supporting a well-rounded academic experience aligned with U.S. training standards.
